Is-sinjal għal TWAQQIF TAL-KNISJA magħmul minn żewġ partijiet. (i) Fl-ewwel parti jsir is-sinjal għal KNISJA. Iż-żewġ idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluq bil-pala ta’ id tħares lejn l-oħra. Is-swaba’ jistrieħu kontra xulxin u l-idejn jiffurmaw V bil-maqlub. (ii) Fit-tieni parti jsir is-sinjal għal BIDU. Iż-żewġ idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluq. Waħda titwaqqaf bil-pala tħares ’il fuq. L-id l-oħra tgħaddi minn fuqha bil-pala tħares laġenba u, kemm kemm tmissha, tibqa’ tiela’ ’l fuq.
This sign for FOUNDATION OF THE CHURCH consists of two parts. (i) The first part is the sign for CHURCH. The hands take the shape of closed 5 with palms facing each other. The fingers lean against each other so that the hands form an upside-down V shape. (ii) The second part is the sign for BEGINNING. Both hands take the shape for closed 5. One hand is stationary with the palm facing upwards. The other hand passes over the stationary hand with the palm facing sideways and, touching it lightly, continues to move upwards.
